Beware of Lower Cluster Fill

Keep in mind that manufacturers can label a duvet as "down" if it contains only 75% down cluster. The smaller the cluster fill number, the lower the grade of down. Daniadown’s higher cluster fill ensures a superior product that retains its loft and warmth over time.

Loft and Thread Count

The size of the loft (or “fill power”) affects the duvet’s fluffiness and luxurious feel—the higher the loft, the more air the down can trap, and the cozier your sleep. Meanwhile, the ticking or cover of the duvet should be made of 100% cotton with at least a 280-thread-per-square-inch weave. While higher thread counts can offer a softer feel, going too high may lead to a heavier cover, depending on the weave.
